Embedded DSP Engineer

Our client is Tannera, LLC, company founded in Los Angeles, California in 2018.  The company is primarily focused on products and services in the domain of wireless and satellite communications and Internet-of-Things. Their partners are:  Skyworks, Amazon, Meta, Phluido and Blue Marble Communications, Inc.

Multiple positions available with different level of seniority (medior-senior).

In collaboration with our strategic partner Skyworks Solutions, Inc. we are looking for DSP firmware engineers for our Belgrade team, responsible for the development, enhancement, and maintenance of embedded DSP firmware for analog and digital communications. We are looking for creative, flexible, and self-motivated individuals with a passion for problem solving in a fast-paced team environment.

Essential Functions:
● Work on DSP-related aspects of telecommunications physical layer
● Implementation of digital communications algorithms on embedded SoCs with specialized DSP co-processors
● Creating unit-tests along-side algorithms implementation
● Work in Scrum methodology including involvement in effort scoping

Qualifications:
● BS/MS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science
● Minimum 3+ years of industry experience in embedded systems development
● Experience in embedded DSP firmware development
● DSP design and implementation skills
● Background in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
o Wireless communications
▪ Algorithms development (MATLAB/Python)
▪ System implementation in software/hardware
▪ Physical layer DSP
▪ Channel coding
o SW development with vector processors
o Agile software development
● Excellent written and verbal communication and technical presentation skills
